Waste
We strive to exist in harmony with the rest of our world. We plan to generate our own solar power and harvest rainwater. We will filter our grey-water in a wetland and compost humanure to feed the soil. We will cultivate native species to help the local ecosystem thrive.
What is Permaculture?
Permaculture is a type of regenerative farming that includes managing resources such as water, power, and waste, basically all human systems for living, resulting in greater sustainability, resilience, and minimal waste. The agricultural part utilizes small-scale, multi-layered planting patterns with an emphasis on perennials. Other elements of our permaculture farm include:
- Rocket Mass Heater
- Solar electrical system and Solar water heater
- Pond for water retention, irrigation, habitat, and recreation

Permaculture Farm Tours
Because the local environment drives the permaculture design, each permaculture farm is different because each location is different. Come see how our farm works.
Our artist residencies offer a tranquil space for artists to focus on their work, meet other creatives, and experience rural Galicia, while living in a more sustainable manner.
We offer space for group retreats of up to 8 participants.
Permaculture Workshops
We have workshops on various regenerative farming principles and techniques, with opportunities for hands-on learning.
Art/Craft Workshops
Our art/craft workshops provide a unique opportunity for participants to learn new skills, guided by experienced artists/craftspeople.
Farm Volunteers
Help us build the farm. We host volunteer workers through programs such as WWOOF and Workaway. Or inquire directly for opportunities and availability.
